Zoo FUNd for Kids
Give to the fund that provides educational opportunities at the Zoo for children who would not otherwise be able to afford them. Since its beginning in the autumn of 1997, this ongoing program has awarded 783,322 allowing 206,000 children to participate in Zoo Education programs.
Species Survival Plan
The Zoo participates in Species Survival Plans for many endangered animals. Zoos from all over North America work together to maintain strong, healthy genetically diverse populations of endangered species.
Parents of the Wild
"Adopt" the animal of your choice and help with the feeding and care of your "wild child" at the Zoo.
Bowling for Rhinos and Gorilla Golf
Every year, Zoo Keepers at our Zoo organize events to benefit much-needed conservation programs around the world. Bowling for Rhinos takes place in July and Gorilla Golf in October. ZooFriends who participate in the events or make donations to them help support gorilla conservation in central Africa and rhino conservation in east Africa and Indonesia. Every penny given to these events goes directly to the program it supports.
ZooFriends Operating Budget
Every donation to the OZS operating budget is like a donation to the Zoo, because it allows ZooFriends to give more to individual Zoo projects.
Memorial Gifts
You may choose to make a donation in memory of a special person or to honor a loved one. Please include your daytime phone number so that we can get some additional information from you.
Replant the Zoo!
Sponsor a tree for yourself, or in the name of someone special as a gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays or any occasion! For a tax-deductible donation of $25 or more, "Replant the Zoo" donors, or gift recipients, will receive a certificate of recognition printed on recycled paper. Donors giving $700 or more will fund the planting of a mature tree, and will be recognized on a bronze plaque displayed on Zoo grounds.
