Join the Oklahoma Zoological Society for the 12th annual ZOObrew!

ZOObrew, the Oklahoma Zoological Society’s largest and most popular fundraiser, is back with a brand-new look for 2020! Due to COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC, this year ZOObrew will allow guests to try their favorite Oklahoma breweries while spreading out throughout the Zoo.

What does this mean? This year, ZOObrew will take place on Friday, September 25, from 7pm – 10pm at the Oklahoma City Zoo. This event will be in conjunction with the Zoo’s “Fair” weekend, where guests will be able to come to the Zoo and enjoy local fair favorites such as funnel cakes, turkey legs, churros, food trucks, and more. ZOObrew staff and volunteers will maintain crowd sizes and ensure all those participating will be able to maintain CDC social distancing guidelines.

Attendees will enjoy a large selection of "fair food," while sampling beers from local breweries! Tickets are limited to 1,200 to ensure social distancing measures are enacted. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.

Doors will open at 6:00 pm, and the event will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. Admission times are spaced every 15 minutes to allow for maximum social distancing. Once you have checked-in, and received your complimentary tasting cup, you are free to roam the Zoo and enjoy delicious beers throughout the evening. Food trucks will be available for purchase, as well as Zoo concessions operated by Lancer.

For VIP PARTYbrew ticket holders, doors will open at 5:30 pm. Two food locations will be provided between 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Locations include the Zoo's Canopy, and the Picnic Grounds. Capacity for each food location is 250 people.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is ZOObrew being on held at the Oklahoma City Zoo this year?

Yes - the Oklahoma Zoological Society will be hosting the event on site from 7pm-10pm. Ticket availability and capacity has been reduced to 1,200 people to allow for social distancing throughout the Zoo.

Why the change to a live event from a Brew-Thru experience?

Due to an alumnimun shortage in the United States; brewers are having a harder time distributing their beers in cans. We do not want to over-extend our relationship with the participating breweries, so the decision was made to host a much smaller in scale ZOObrew on September 25.

What social distancing measures will be in place to ensure the saftey of ticket holders, staff, and volunteers?

Ticket holders will be required to obey social distancing measures in place at all tents. Ticket holders are encouraged to stand 6-feet apart as they move through the lines. All volunteers, and staff will be required to wear masks and gloves.

How does timed ticketing work?

To help ease the process of enterting the event and to regulate social distancing measures. Timed-ticketing is in place to get you and your friends into the event smoothly. Doors will open at 6:00 pm on September 25, and guests will be checked in every 15 minutes. Your corresponding ticket will instruct you on the times in which you are to be at the Entry Plaza. Doors for VIP open at 5:30.

No, t-shirts sizes will be available on a first come, first serve basis. We plan to have every size available during the time of the event.

Will there be additional entertainment?

Yes. Not only will ZOObrew take place during the Oklahoma City Zoo's "Fair Weekend," which includes local fan-favorite fair food, there will be live music, and a raffle presented by Byron's Liquor Warehouse.

Is this a fundraiser?
