Replant the Zoo!
YOU CAN HELP “REPLANT THE ZOO”!
Everyone can help to “Replant the Zoo” by contributing
funds, which will be used to replace more than 150 trees lost on Zoo Grounds. The
Zoo’s Horticulture Department will use the funds raised to select and purchase
new trees based on certain species, size and condition requirements, and are
unable to accept donations of or for specific types of trees or other plant
material.
Sponsor a tree for yourself, or in the name of someone special as a gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays or any occasion! For a tax-deductible donation of $25 or more, “Replant the Zoo” donors, or gift recipients, will receive a certificate of recognition printed on recycled paper. Donors giving $700 or more will fund the planting of a mature tree, and will be recognized on a bronze plaque displayed on Zoo grounds.
